Gold (Chrisós) being one of the first metals worked by humans has inspired generations of artisans from ancient Greece to create captivating stories raging from King Midas, to the Golden Fleece and the power of resurrection through to the Golden Apples of Hesperidins. Turning gold into the contemporary quest for knowledge and enlightenment. Being born and raised in Greece allowed me first hand access to such a rich culture which inspired me through my practice to go on a journey to explore the meaning of gold and create new stories where gold takes center stage.
